
As part of the European Brass Band Championships (EBBC) 2026, the city center of Linz is being transformed into a lively “Brass Mile”, filling the streets with music, rhythm, and a vibrant festival atmosphere.
Since Friday, April 24, and continuing on Saturday, April 25 (from 12:00 PM), visitors can enjoy a diverse program of live performances—free of charge—throughout the inner city. The lineup features an exciting mix of brass bands, jazz and big bands, as well as ensembles from Austria and across Europe.
Concerts are taking place at several prominent locations, including Linz’s main square (Hauptplatz), the Lentos Museum, and Passage Linz.
With its varied musical offerings and open-air setting, the Brass Mile promises an unforgettable experience for both residents and visitors, celebrating the spirit and diversity of brass music in the heart of Linz.
